East Key Industrial is an expert in different casting techniques, including High and Low pressure Die, Gravity, Investment and Sand casting. Depending on the appearance and structural requirements of the part, we can assist you in selecting the right casting process and designing the mould. We have a rich experience with castings featuring complex geometry, strict requirements on minimum porosity level, structural challenges around warping and flatness requirements etc. We can offer solutions for the following Casting Manufacturing Technologies:

High Pressure Die Casting

By using High Pressure Die Casting, you can achieve superior casting surface finishes with short production lead times and create intricate complex shapes. Outstanding mechanical properties and excellent dimensional tolerances can be achieved with minimal additional machining. Machines with closing forces ranging from 50T to 3000T are available, with ADC12 and A380 materials being the most commonly used. 

Investment Casting

Investment Casting (or Lost Wax casting) process allows to create a relatively smooth surface finish with high dimensional accuracy, at the same time providing a significantly cheaper tooling cost by utilizing expandable patterns made of wax like materials.  

 

Gravity casting

Low tooling investment and high mechanical properties make Gravity casting an attractive solution for medium to high volume production runs.

Low Pressure Die Casting

By filling the die under low pressure (typically around 0.7 bar), Low Pressure Die Casting allows sufficient control over cavity die filling with very low porosity and high part uniformity.  

Sand casting

Sand casting technology provides a solution for low production runs with cheap tooling costs and the ability to produce versatile shapes. A higher dimensional tolerance almost always requires additional machining, although project turnaround times are typically short. Shell moulding casting produces a better dimensional accuracy and finish, as the process is using resin covered sand to form an expendable mould.

Centrifugal casting

Centrifugal casting is a must choice for high-reliability applications like military, aerospace etc. Using a preheated spinning die, complex shapes can be created with minimal machining.
